Customers Shipping Outside the USA
We couldn't believe that our storefront software vendor does not support shipping addresses outside the USA. In fact, the software won't even let you register fully as a customer because it won't accept any postal code except a USA zip code. We are trying to get them to fix this asap but until that happens here's how to place an order.
- Register as a customer but put a USA zip code in as your postal code. Any valid zip code will work but if you don't know one you can use 98104.
- After you register send an email to sales@austinoceans.com with your correct and full address. Please indicate as well if this is a residential or business address.
- We think that either your credit card or Paypal info should work correctly. If it doesn't we will call you to get the information.
- Since the shipping calculation will be wrong (since you have to enter a USA zipcode) we will manually calculate your shipping and any import duty/taxes (although if at all possible we will not pay that and let you pay any import fees when you receive the product). We will email you with the correct shipping amount for your approval before we charge your credit card for any remaining shipping fees.
In general, if you are a customer outside North America you should probably email us first with a list of what you want to buy. We can make a few suggestions on how to make this easier.
Our Ship From address is in Milpitas, CA, zipcode 95035. If you want to use the UPS online calculators (see www.ups.com) to determine UPS shipping charges you should get a reasonable idea of shipping costs.
