Look, it's a lot of work to put together a website. Please don't copy any of our stuff without permission. Of course if you ask us real nice we will probably be so pleased that we'll let you use our stuff (with an attribution!) so email us if you think you want to reuse any of our website images or text.

Terms of Use


Trademarks
All of our trademarks are the property of Austin Oceans LLC. We may use trademarks of Barr Aquatic Systems under license and those remain the property of Barr Aquatic Systems. Any other trademarks are the property of their trademark owner.

Privacy Policy
We do not sell or trade any of the personal information you have given us. We will tell UPS your shipping address but we think you will be ok with that.

Sales Tax
We abide by the law. As we understand it, we have to charge you sales tax if we ship your order to Texas because that's where we are shipping from. Anywhere else in the US we don't have to charge you sales tax because we don't have an operation in any other state. Please remember to pay your state use tax if you have one.

Warranty
Our warranty policy is simple. If we made it and it fails to operate properly under normal circumstances we will fix it or replace it during the first 5 years. We stand behind the products we make. If we are reselling some other vendors product (like pumps), the warranty comes from the manufacturer and it is whatever they warranty their product for.

Shipping
We usually ship via UPS in the US but we will ship FedEx if you request. You pay for the shipping. If you live around Austin and want to come pick up your order send us an email and we can arrange a time for you to pick it up. Your order becomes your property once we hand it over to the shipper so if they break it in shipping you (with our help) have to get them to pay for it. Always inspect your order carefully as soon as it arrives and do not sign for it without noting any damage to the shipping box. If the box looks damaged, open it immediately and see if anything is damaged inside. If the damage is severe (like they dropped it 15 feet and then ran over it with a truck) don't accept delivery. We will help sort out any problems with the shipper. Just let us know what happened as soon as possible. If you get your order in before 3:00 pm Central time we will probably ship it the same day if it is in stock. For UPS we can ship priority overnight, 2 day, 3 day, or ground. If there is any question on the shipping we will send you an email to confirm how you want your order shipped. Please answer promptly since we won't ship it without getting your confirmation.

Returns
If you are not satisfied with your order because it fails to operate properly during the warranty period email us for a RMA number so that you can ship it back to us. If for any reason you received the wrong items in your shipment email us so that we can fix it. However, please do not ship anything back to us without a RMA number. Once we send you the RMA number please write it prominently on the outside of your shipping box so we can see it.
